Developments On The Renovation Front

The marine treated beams are now on site for the Carriage House and replacing the rotten beam/s on top of the brick foundation under the dining room. The beards have come and stripped the new concrete foundation walls on the Carriage House. Our fantastic Mason Ted Gillis has dropped off materials and set up his staging for re-building the 3 chimneys. Though work in the house has come to a complete halt for some time... we are heartened that these trades have come and are committed to helping us. We will see what the next couple weeks bring before we have to return home to Yukon. Will we be searching again for a carpenter, a plasterer, and painter? We hope not.
