France Travel: St. Bertrand de Comminges Roman Style

Our little 'beaux village' is surrounded by Roman ruins, and includes Roman ruins in most of its constructions, here and there. The local museums have some of the better bits not already re-used in local construction. Today I made time to go and see them. A local artist has made watercolour representations of what archaeologists think the sites looked like. The curator told me that they hope to have a complete set of them by next spring. It would certainly make the sites easier to understand. Staring at foundations in a field it is hard to understand the daily lives an artist can include.
