London Travel: Late Night at the V&A

The V&A is the Victoria and Albert Museum, an amazing institution which houses a little of everything beautiful. It is such a difficult collection to describe because it includes amazing textiles, tiles, carpets, cups, glassware, ironwork, carvings and totemic nick-knacks.

If you haven't been, you really should go if you appreciate craft as much as art - and entry is free. Last night was their weekly late night, giving working folks the opportunity to see the collections. Not only that, but they hosted a DJ and bar in the central atrium. In some of the galleries you could even carry your beverage. How very civilized. This was Christopher's first time seeing this astounding collection and he was very glad he went.
