England Travel: Central London is Not for Dogs!

We were incredibly lucky the day we spent out and about in St. James with an acquaintance that we didn't just get chucked out of St. James. We must have come upon the only dog friendly location in Central London.

Today was a complete bust trying to get in out of the torrential down pour with the dog. She, and by extension, we, were very unwelcome. After our first pub refusal Christopher was quite anxious, so at the next pub I asked and was pleased to be told, yes, of course the dog is welcome. That was more the norm I felt. Then, sadly, management had other things to say, luckily before I'd ordered. The next two  pub locations the same story, leaving us soaking wet and hungry. We'd passed Borough Market on the way, one of London's iconic open air markets, which is under the London Bridge Railway station.  We next headed there, picked up some thai for lunch, only to be told by an unwelcoming soul, "no dogs allowed" after we'd bought the food. The food was merely adequate, and the company sub-par so, back on the bus with us!
