As we came back into cell coverage from our long weekend camping... we got the news that our breeder's puppies were born. There were enough females born that if all are healthy... we can expect a new arrival late October. Gypsy had 4 boys and 4 girls.

There of course is no guarantee that the pups will all survive, be healthy and have the right combination of characteristics that we are looking for... but we can't help feeling our hope creep up on us. Our hearts are still admittedly broken (Christopher especially) after losing Isla earlier this summer... we hope that a new puppy will help our recovery.
Apparently our fantastic breeder Danielle with PrairieStorm Kennels http://www.prairiestorm.ca/index.html in Saskatchewan will send new photos for us to devour once per week. There will be no ID collar colours until six weeks when Danielle has had enough time to get to know each pup and decide on which will best fit the needs of each different home.
