Beach Day!

One of Sarah's conditions of coming to Nova Scotia for 7 months is that there had to be one 'beach day' per week or two. With renos... it rarely happens that you have time... if at all. So... Sarah has had to adjust her perspective regarding what a 'beach day' is now... and fortunately for Topher, this has become a bit of a joke for us both. Almost without fail... when we get away from the house to buy supplies out of town... I exclaim... "BEACH DAY!"... And Sarah rolls her eyes and sigh deeply. Today's 'beach day' involved going to Daubin's Butcher Shop just outside Bridgetown Nova Scotia and checking out a copper sink for the master bath on the way. You can see the happy cows just to the rightand behind the Butcher Shop. We also grabbed some spectacular beef tenderloin for Sarah's Dad and his amazing lady wife Donna as well as some for ourselves. when we dropped the tenderloin off, Scapa did her patrol of the kitchen floors and almost immediately went to heat worship in front of the wood stove. Have we mentioned how cold it is in our house?!?
