Kyoto wanders

We ‘did’ the main palace and shoguns fortress while the rain held off. So did lots of others, including many school groups. They weren’t posing for me. 

We stopped for coffee and a matcha beer at the beginning. 









And we stopped for coco and a tea cake at the end at this tea house in the grounds. We had a nice chat with an elderly Japanese tourist who had travelled the world and now focus es his time on travel at home in Japan.
