Keeping Home Fires Burning...

The main power was off today at 10 Bohaker St. to put in a new 200 amp panel... so no power all day. My job as I understand it is to stay out of the way, keep the fire burning and clean up their mess later. Usually on a day without power... things are pretty quiet. Not so today. Our carpenter Wayne is putting a skim coat on the walls in the front entry, stairwell and upstairs landing. And boy are the electricians loud in the basement with thier headlights, music and power tools. Today is the first snow of this winter in Nova Scotia for Scapa and Christopher. Scapa, as always, thoroughly enjoyed her morning Frisbee romp all over the grounds at the fort. She is currently sleeping it off... alternating between the fire and the couch. Here are a few pics from today.
