Rain Days!

Rainy Days means that the work comes inside. We are slowly advancing the last stages of the install of the skylights. It takes a while to glue down and brace some of the flashing and flashing and shingles so that everything is secure to hurricane force winds. I'm expecting the last stage should be done this afternoon. We will finish cleaning up take the planks and staging down and move the staging to the end of the house so that the last 3 windows on the North end can be replaced. Are painter Chris came by sealed the walls in the dining room so that repairs can begin and Daryl began working on the kitchen ceiling to mud it so that there's much less dust in future when my beloved Sarah is here it's here. Chris and I also began the process of scraping off the paint on the entire ceiling of the parlour. It Will then need to be washed a couple of times at least in order to get the calcimide layer off. Only then can it be sealed with an oil primer so that repairs may occur to the ceiling and in future painting.
