The Never Ending Weaving

Last November I put this warp on my new loom. Today I finished the warp and cut it off! Originally it was going to be a baby’s blanket, but I gave some socks instead. Now I’m thinking a big scarf? I’m making a twisted fringe invade I do want it as a scarf.

I finished it because of the inspiration and impetus I got from Shetland’s virtual wool week.

And here it is after washing. The dear sucker effect is seemingly the result of the yellow yarn not shrinking at all, while the other colours shrank a little. I like it even though it was unexpected.

Twisting a fringe in case I decide to use it as a scarf or lap blanket.
