Gone skiing

This March the ski conditions have been superb. I can’t remember another march with such amazing sunshine, fresh snow and freezing temperatures to keep the trails in good condition. Today, April 1 [can you believe it!] We had an exceptional ski. Keep in mind neither of us skate skis, we are talking about old-school classic Nordic cross country skiing. We discovered a glorious Ridge Trail completely new to us. There’s even a brand new warming hut, fire pit and picnic table. Mind you it is a scary hill climb to get up there but once you’re there it is so worth it.

The crazy hill is behind us. Neither of us was willing to stop on the hill to take a photo. Let’s just say it was epic. 



Yes, still heaving to catch our breath. 

Then, just around the corner we found this amazing spot with fire pit, picnic tables and warming hut. Fantastic. I got some sun! 

The dog got an Apple core.
