Champagne garden club plant sale scores

This year we joined the Annapolis Royale, Champlain, garden club. Each year they have a sale of garden plants from members gardens. It’s a fundraiser for the club and a wonderful way for gardeners to be able to spread the joy of their wonderful plants. No plant more than $4. It was ungodly early, starting at 8 am on a Saturday morning. That don’t get me wrong we’re often up by that point but still in bed with tea and television. Saturday mornings we watch gardeners world. This Saturday we got up put our tea and travel mugs and went to the Sale. There were so many people already there we just engaged and chatted and got plants. It wasn’t until after we were home that it occurred to me that I should’ve taken a photograph of the busy humming activity.

We got an entire shade garden, including some plants that I had been looking for, like primulas and thalictrum, for $51!
