When I arrived back in Whitehorse, sadly our house had been poorly treated by the tenants who had been here. As a result, I’ve spent the last three weeks cleaning and repairing what I can. I finally feel as if I can do some of the less urgent repairs. We had left this blanket to be used and it has fresh tears in it. I think once I’ve repaired them, I may try and felt the blanket down.
We’ve had it a long time, and it wasn’t new when it came to us. It still has life in it though.
I also spent the day sanding and re-oiling the butcher block countertops. Incidentally, I also cleaned behind the stove which let’s just say was not pretty
