Todays Update

After running around in the morning and exercising Scapa... Christopher spent the remainder of the day cleaning the T-suite of cellulose and plaster dust from the top down. This in preparation for Sprayfoam Monday. At least 4 hrs remain tomorrow to have all the joist ends cleared of debris. Darrell completed prep in the attic for sprayfoam and found a serious problem of a few crumbling bricks with one of our chimneys... the one where the oil furnace chimney exits. Some pics are below. This means the blow in insulation has to be put off for at least a week until our MSon Ted has a chance to come and repair any damaged/failing areas. The upstairs hallway has now been boarded and we are just waiting until Ted comes by again to removeand repair another of the damaged thimbles found throughout the house. The T-suite ceiling is strapped and ready for tin Darrell also removed the plywood and linoleum in Sarah's pantry. The wide planks are wonderfully worn down where the ladies of the household stood in the past prepping food. Justin continued work downstairs to remove the inner layer of bricks and expose the structural portions. We have now uncovered enough significantly damaged areas that we will be holding off sprayfoaming the basement walls until after repairs to the foundation are complete.
