We Bought a Car!

We had grand plans of getting a truck for Xhris to use for renovating the house. Well, that went by the wayside after a few in person examinations and one test drive. For what we were willing to pay there was nothing. Rabid squirrels under the hood do not an engine make! That was the result of a test drive of this Ford. Didn’t look too bad, but baby! Nasty stuff. 

So then we had a re-think and asked google which SUV had the best towing capacity. So then we sought out those cars. The 4Runner was on that list. We found one in Halifax - a 2015 for 45,795 (once you added the taxes and service charges). We test drive it and could face the sticker shock. No photos. 

That afternoon we headed out to Bridgewater ( near Lunenburg, and an hour and a bit drive) to test drive a VW Touareg. That went so well we bought it. 6,000lb towing capacity! 

We bought it. But funny thing, no pics.

On the same lot is a Fiat 500 Abarth! Test drove that too. What fun! 

Chris wants to buy that too! I said not now!
