After months of work we are finally getting close on Sarah's new kitchen... New Window, New Antique Wide Plank Floor, Brick Kitchen Hearth, Thresholds, New Cabinets, Sink and Layout and A Pantry Once Over...

Fruitcaking!

My annual holiday baking tradition is to make the joy of cooking at dark fruit cake. It consumes the whole kitchen for an entire day.  

First the fruit sails in rhum.
