THE WEEK IN REVIEW - Renovating

with a great deal of relief, we are happy to report that our fantastic carpenter Darrell Hudson is back with us again after more than a month away with Covid and other jobs. We are so happy to have him back. He is such a wonderful guy and a highly skilled and knowledgeable tradesperson to boot. Darrell has cleared out the suite and finished putting up the drywall.

Our plumber Ricky Gates came and finished putting in the new Hybrid Heat Pump hot water tank, Running new copper lines for drinking water and new lines for hot water. This eliminated a cobweb of existing lines that ran around the basement ceiling with no rhyme or reason. Our mason extraordinaire Ted Gillis and his helper Justin have now rebuilt one of 3 chimneys... one more and a bit yo go next week. Ted was a little surprised that Christopher climbed up yo join him on top of the roof. The views from up top are spectacular... we understand the widow's walk even more now.

Kolin and Chance (AKA The Beards or Beardy Boys) were back to fasten the treated sills to the new concrete walls and footings in prep for Carl to come back and lower the building to its' final resting place.
