A beautiful and charming little church.
The gentleman above is the alleged founder of Froom. Cording to the docent at the museum he put a chapel at the confluence of a few little rivers that I could clean water which brought in many new parishioners.
Also according to the docent at the museum there continues to be debate about the “improvements“ made in the Victorian era. I think it’s beautiful.
Some Saxon stones were incorporated into the walls. The carvings are so reminiscent of some of the work on display at the Roman baths…
