Booster Shot

Sarah was a rock star and managed to get us same day appointments in Lawrencetown to get our Moderna booster shots. Topher was able to keep the headache at bay with application of Tylenol and ibuprofen in the evening... but the migraine and some muscular soreness is here in full force this am. We'll see soon how Sarah's doing... she was 4 days sick after her 2nd shot. Here's Sarah waiting to go for our shots a few buildings down the street. Many thanks to the folks at the Lawrencetown PharmaChoice for giving vaccines and having such a well run operation. Apparently there just aren't many spots for getting your vaccines in the Annapolis Valley because many pharmacy owners don't want to 'rock the boat of the anti-vaccers... don't know if it is true... but it seems logical given how hard it is to find any locations and appointments anywhere in the valley.

Progress on the hearth yesterday... next to fully support it from below. Oil fired mechanic Matthew Smith came by yesterday and gave our 1987 furnace a tune up as we could smell oil every time it fired. 🤞 we can limp it through the winter before it is replaced.
