On the Journey - Frankfurt to Sempach Switzerland

An eventful day. Driving through Germany is fast, easy and convenient. Got to pee? No problem, next rest stop will be close. There's three different kinds to choose from, wilderness (with forest abutting), basic (no toilet) and serviced (may even be a motel and restaurant). We hit a huge traffic jam (2.5 hrs at a crawl) just over the Swiss boarder in Basel. It appeared to be caused by a broken side mirror and some lazy cops.
