Stirling Castle

I got off the boat and got on the train to go to Stirling to see the castle. I’m glad I didn’t make a special trip. It was large, but underwhelming. 

The hall was definitely the most impressive part. The golden lime wash on the outside and the cathedral ceilings on the inside. 

The roof is not origami, but a 1990’s re-do using traditional methods and materials 

The tour guide was good at whisking through centuries of history. 






The landscape around the castle was more impressive to me.
