Vintage Wool Score

Chris had sent me a note about a 3 day yard sale that started Thursday. Today being Saturday i didn't think there'd be much left. I love that I was wrong! I heard it said that the bedroom where I found this wonderful wool was four feet deep in wool when the ladies opened the door. It was sold by the bag, whatever you could fit in a bag for $5. You are looking at a picture of what I got in 3 bags. I hope that the gal who owned all this wonderfulness gets to know how much happiness she's brought to so many Whitehorse ladies by selling her hoard.
I think this stuff was at the bottom of the pile judging by the labels...
I wonder what "patonized' means? And 'botany wool'? I think that is old speak for merino...

I have had a number of ideas already for what I'll knit with it. Obviously there's the possiblity of some baby clothes, but I may just over dye that wool and make it more manly to knit into a fair isle sweater.
