IKEA(d)

It should be a word: we Ikea(d). We did the whole store. For the first time we walked through the entire upstairs and all the rooms. Phew. 

We like this kitchen. The dark cabinets, white porcelain sink, wood counter ( actually a veneer over particle board now) wood floors, wall oven, cook too with a plancha. 






The artfulness of their display rooms is incredibly impressive. It makes you want to buy their stuff. Seeing the stuff outside the rooms, it’s not as desirable. IKEA nails the marketing of desirable stuff. 

We managed to get out with a tiny fraction of the lighting we went for. Everything is sold out and not available- but they keep displaying the stuff. IKEA does not sell the floor models and keep displaying them even though they are not available.
