Hat for Ukraine

 I've been feeling lots of different things while watching the war unfold in the Ukraine. I did some doom scrolling, and then decided that wasn't good for me. So, I decided to think about the war in Ukraine in a different way and I knit a stranded colourwork hat in the colours of the Ukrainian flag. 

It didn't' originally have a pom pom and was knitted in heavier weight wool. I modified it to use what I had on hand, some fine Shetland wool that I had dyed with indigo (the blue) and weld (for the yellow). The weld I grew in my garden last year.
