A Day Away... Christopher Pics
Despite the obscene diesel prices... Sarah is now enforcing 'beach days' in order to remove herself and Topher from Renos as our time in Nova Scotia winds slowly to a close. While Darrell is working hanging drywall in the T-suite and Blow in insulation is going into the walls and sloped roof/walls... we are road tripping down on the L'Acadian French Shore.

Forchu Lighthouse
Apparently forchu means forked in French of some edition. It was named by an early EU explorer because of the forked nature of the approach to the natural protected harbour that would become Yarmouth.
It’s a cool shaped lighthouse.
We had fun. It was a bit cold though.
Yarmouth is one of the busiest fishing harbours in Nova Scotia.
They even have a dinosaur skeleton! Aka whale.
Mavillette Beach
Good times were had!
An amazing stretch of white sand on the French/Acadian Shore not so far from our place in Annapolis Royal.
Scapa is such a cool dog, she found some huge clam shells and we praised here for it. So the. She went off and dig around the beach until she found more. Amazing.
It’s a big beach at low tide!

CPW
A Canadian Production Wheel. Something I’ve wanted for more than a decade!
It has a lovely spot in our Nova Scotia parlour.

Construction Update
Drywall is in and first coat of mud is on in the T-suite bathroom. The Sprayfoam company came back and cleaned up parts they missed or did poorly. Electricians came by and put in wiring for the new hybrid HWT in a new location. Sarah continued stripping wallpaper. Still not sure what Topher accomplished but I kept busy.
