Suzoshiro in Takahara

Our home for one night in Takahara was an absolutely beautiful little cabin with heat, running water and all the amenities.  Our host told us it was built by a local carpenter and Christopher in particular was taken by the beautiful joinery.

The suzoshiro host and his multi-generational family have thought of everything and the food was easily the best we've had in Japan... even days later as I write this post.  It is the attention to detail that we most noticed and appreciate... Christopher strives for this standard for our own Airbnb cabin in the City of Whitehorse.
