Juneau: State Museum Amazing Collection

The Alaska state museum has an amazing collection. So many precious objects in one place was awe inspiring. 

Some of the pieces were new productions, others old. 

The provenance on some pieces was absent. 

Or descriptions too short. The above head dress is made with what look like Russian trade beads and dentalium shells. 

This piece above seems like it was from the Aleutian Islands. And the diorama below as well.
