Wool Lovers Unite!

A few months back when we were going through Haines Junction we happened upon their farmers market. At that market I met a woman who is raising Icelandic sheep in the Junction. She uses them for wool, meat, and milk. We arranged to get together the next time she was in Whitehorse so that I could give her some advice about her wool and how to market it to spinners. that was a lovely few hours this afternoon. in exchange for my advice she let me have part of one of the fleece. The sheep’s name is ivory.
