The advent of streaming services means you can watch programming from all over the world. I got sucked in to BBC via the Amazon prime scheme and discovered Gardeners World. We have become fans of the show and it’s host, Monty Don. Each week in the Friday night show there are ‘jobs for the weekend’. Our garden schedule here in Yukon is vastly different from England, but the idea is still an inspiration. With cooler weather the mosquitoes and black flies are at a controllable level - bug spray and mosquito coils keep them away enough to spend time in the garden. This evening we tackled weeding and mulching one of the front garden beds.
