Fruitcake

My annual cooking adventure of dark fruitcake took place on ver the weekend. 

The 6 and a half pounds of dried fruit and nuts. 

The butter, sugar, flour and spices. 

15 egg whites whipped to soft not stiff peaks.

The Armstrong mixing- it was a very athletic experience. 

 
The cakes are cooked and resting in their rum bath.
