We noticed all around Germany these wonderful mini displays of eggs, well, the eggs were usually mini, in one train station (Berlin) the eggs were gigantic. The first hint was when I started seeing trees with eggs hung on them, then I started seeing them everywhere. The most beautiful, in my eyes, was the one at the Adlon Hotel in Berlin that was made with corkscrew willow and wonderfully artful eggs.
Then there was the market in Munich where the butcher, the florist and just everyone had lovely decorations, somewhat reminiscent of Christmas, but not Christmasy.
