In the last couple days we've discovered bus #62 that winds its slow, circuitous way from our neighbourhood into the Centro Storico (heart) of Rome. We spent a nice morning and afternoon going to Campo di Fiori market, Piazza Navona and the surrounding shops. Then, the next day, we repeated the trip with Christopher and Isla to see the Pantheon.
I was also pleased as punch to see a paper shop that had an English sign out front that said they could make note books covered with the paper of your choice. I got one covered with part of the ancient map of Rome, and another with a lovely silver/gold pattern. Delightful souvenirs of Rome.
