I love snowdrops and we are lucky enough to have quite a number of them in our Nova Scotia garden.

I’m not alone, lovers of snow drops are called ‘galanthophiles’. The Latin name for the common European snowdrop is galanthus nivalis. There are many names varieties and I could easily become a collector! We also have various types of crocus, iris reticulata (Dutch or dwarf iris) and some heather in bloom.
