Haskaps

There a relatively new berry plant that has a very early harvest of tart dark purple blueberries.

They grow well in cool climate with the very blooms coming out before the leaves and very early spring.

Every year Chris fights off the robins so that we can actually have a harvest. This year he was very successful and we got bags and bags of delicious berries.

You might be able to spot the dog in the far right hand of this picture. She finds the very delicious too.
