Ice Storm

For almost two days here in Annapolis Royal we had freezing rain, sleet and ice pellets. This morning we woke up to sunshine. Wow. It’s probable that the power will go out again since the weight of the ice on the lines and trees is tremendous. For now we are going to try and enjoy the beauty of it. When the wind blows, the icy limbs tinkle and sound like leaves. 

This is yesterday’s walk around the Fort, the guns were iced!

This morning the east light on the oak is astounding.
