Unexpected Issues

As was expected, unexpected issues were found with the new property building in Nova Scotia. There are minor foundation issues with the house and major ones with the carriage house. The building inspector probably should have caught them... but such is life when buying an old house. The United Church in behind our new to us property... at some point in the past... filled in their gravel parking lot and pushed the soil and gravel up against the rear wall of our building. Since then... 4ft of the wall has slowly rotted away. Now... we need to stop the pressure, drain the water away and fix the rotted out wall structure to save our building. Here are a couple pics...
