Haskap G&T
Our house cat bushes did lovely this year, and Christopher covered them in bird repellent Renee to keep the robins from eating all the berries while we were away. Today I was planning to do the lawn and realized if I did I would knock all the berries off, so we picked them. A very good harvest from only two midsize bushes. I’ve already cooked up most of them to make into jelly and the last few cups I will turn into a crumble I think. Are used some of the juice to jazz up my gin and tonic this afternoon.
