Christmas Eve Oysters

There were local Nova Scotia oysters at the local grocery store. Support local! A very nice treat for a snowy Christmas Eve.

We’ve been busy! And while not looking, Christmas came. We bought this striking sideboard at Hayes Antiques. 

Another Great Ski Day

The clouds cleared off and the snow squall stopped in time for us to have a lovely ski over the lunch hour today.  

Whitehorse Cross Country Ski

The cross country ski trails here in Whitehorse are phenomenal. I’ve been taking advantage of the early start to winter to get out on the trails and enjoy them.

Felting and Quilting

I did the dye work on a piece of felt made by a fellow guild member and today I quilted it. 

Then I moved on to the landscape art piece that I started a few classes ago.

I did a quilt class to make little birds. I had hoped to make a quilt top. But oh no! I got two done in a whole day.
