Ocktoberfest

One of the local breweries did a Ocktoberfest themed Friday eve. 

Congdon Creek - Kluane

Last week we went camping at a new to us spot in the Kluane Mountains beside the Alaska highway. Spectacular is the only word for it. 

Mac and cheese a la camping. 

It was colossally windy and rainy - which cleared off and was snow on the mountain as we left to return to Whitehorse.

Kale for Camping

Chris is here for a visit and he has a ‘thing’ for kale. I get some in our Whitehorse garden and it seemed like a good time to harvest it. 

It’s red Russian kale. 

Very ornamental.
