Spring Clean -Up
I’m tidying up the front rock wall gardens today in the sun. It didn’t last forever! The wind drove me inside. But while it was good, it was very good.

Coatie Cuties
So, there’s quite a bit of local fauna on this resort. And they mostly keep to themselves. The captors like to root around in the grass in the mornings in family groups.
They look sort of like a raccoon crossed with a possi

Fluevog Guardian
The cat has found a new nest - with my small selection of Fluevog shoes. He looks like he has a possessory paw on the black ones.
First Tick of 2024
Egads!!! A slight tickle on my leg, and there it was! This is after I’ve taken my normal procedure of stripping off in the mud room, bath and hair wash. I can only think it came in on the dog who I towelled off. It is a really foul day out there too- snow/rain. I can’t believe tick season is already upon us!
Another Heroically High Tide
The Dyke around the historic gardens, lower fields has again been breached by the high tide on Allain’s Creek.

More Mittens
After loosing a mitten I knew I needed more mittens! I finished these this afternoon. Handspun single ply yarn.
A handsome hand model helped with the photos.
The blue thumb was supposed to be a green thumb!

Grow Table
We got a grow table from Amazon on sale last week. It took all week to work out how to put it together and find a place to put it in the house.
The cat’s feeding station had been there, so he has to adjust to the move. Part of the rationale for doing this is because I enjoyed all the zinnias people grew last year. They are annuals that need a head start. And we will try a few other things to plant out and hopefully reduce our plant bills!

Our Cat Likes Rain
Gris Gris is not deterred by rain at all. He goes out - and comes back dripping wet and lays in front of the fire.
