Sam McGee/mountain Hero
This is olds new since I’m behind in my posts. A couple weekends ago we were at Conrad campground where it was rather chilly, we took the opportunity to do the mountain hike we did the same time last year. We did it with part of our bubble family. Here in Yukon you are allowed to be close to another household as part of the COVID control measures.
It was a picture perfect day.

Millennium Trail Eagle
The chick was testing her wings when we walked by the other day. I am still thrilled every time I see an eagle.

Canada Day on Chadburn Lake
Yes, it was easily cold enough to wear a sweater.
This is what happens when we try to take a selfie.

Happy Canada Day
A mixed weather morning made for a nice Canada Day in Yukon. We went for a paddle at a local lake, picniced on a hillside with a view, relaxed some in our sunny back yard and and Sarah cooked an epic lamb rack and miso tasted potatoes.
