It was glorious here in the Yukon this past weekend. So lovely we were actually in the water.

I’m ‘competing’ in the tour de fleece with the Atlantic Spinners and Handweavers Guild this month.

It’s been a long time coming and really needs to be done. 

At least half of it is already out. 

And in the rented sea can. 

Upcycled and displayed

Someone donated fabric and stuff to the guild and I picked up a few bits for the house. 

And a worlds fair cotton lace. 

And some anttmacassars for the chair arms. 

Mend in Public Day

In honour of international mend in public day I have fixed this beautiful lace edged tablecloth to use as a curtain in our kitchen. I haven’t completely fixed it but I’ve repaired the largest rents.

I’m not an expert by any stretch of the imagination. So it’s very definitely visible men.
